Krispy Kreme - Combo Deal

Been passing around Terogong, South Jakarta a few times and finally stopped by to this Krispy Kreme Cafe shop. Located across the Pertamina gas station and next to the Starbucks Coffee and Hero Supermarket. The shop is pretty small with around 7 tables available and very good lighting (quite bright at night, nice for taking pictures :p), but the air con is set too cold, had complained about this but the waitress couldn't do anything.

Looking at the menu board, they sell doughnuts (of course) and certain drinks (available hot, iced, or frozen). The waitress offer me what they call "Combo Deal", costs Rp 35.000,- for a cup of drink and a couple of doughnuts. Choices for the drink are hot Americano, hot cappuccino, hot latte, or hot English breakfast tea. You can also make it iced for Rp 3.000,- extra. For the doughnuts, you'll get 1 original glazed and 1 assorted of your choice.

Then as my math and wallet count, the order comes for that Combo Deal. I get myself a cup of hot cappuccino, 1 original glazed doughnut, and 1 oreo cheesecake doughnut. The cappuccino was not sweetened yet, so I put two sachets of sugar on it. I like it better when sweet. Had to say the coffee was quite good, nice amount of coffee makes it taste unlike some cheap 3in1 coffees. The foam was thick and looked good for a photoshoot, though the cup is pretty small in size compared on what you get from Starbucks. The original glazed tastes amazing, the sweetness is so well balanced and simply make it my favorite choice. The oreo cheesecake was good, but I prefer the original glazed more.

The shop ambience was quite nice and good for looking some inspirations. Not so many guess coming made it a perfect place to do your work. I find myself became the only customer sitting in the shop for like 65% of time I sat there. They also have a descent wifi connection, so you'll be happy sitting there for hours. Good musics also play in the store, mostly today charts so it's good for the youngsters. It's kind of a good bargain for a Rp 35.000 to spend your time there. Definitely will come back!
